Compare the prices you have been quoted
Use a single year, the same equipment and the same servicing scope. Enter your own confirmed prices, including tax where applicable. Leave unknown amounts blank until they are resolved.
Plan or pay for each visit?
Enter prices for the same equipment and service. Include the visits you need and any charges outside the annual plan.
No account needed. Your entries stay in this page.
Check what the visits actually cover
List the systems and work covered by each option. The ENERGY STAR maintenance checklist is a useful starting point for discussing checks with the contractor. Your provider should identify the work that applies to your equipment and who performs it.
Ask whether filters, cleaning, travel and consumables are included. Compare the same visit scope rather than treating every service appointment as interchangeable. A membership might offer booking benefits, but those benefits are separate from the visit-price calculation.
How the comparison is calculated
Plan cost = yearly fee + uncovered required visits × price for an uncovered plan visit + other yearly plan charges. Individual-visit cost = required visits × individual visit price + other yearly charges. Included visits you do not use do not produce a cash credit in this model.
For example inputs of a 300 annual fee, two required visits, one included visit, 90 for the extra visit and 20 in plan extras, the plan total is 410. Two visits at 120 each with 10 in other charges total 250. These are illustrative inputs, not local market prices or predicted savings.
Read the terms that the calculator cannot price
Ask about contract duration, renewal, cancellation, coverage limits, appointment timing and repair approval. Enter a charge only when you know it applies; do not assume parts or breakdown repairs are free because routine maintenance is included.
